Hello and welcome!
My name is Michiel Maandag. I am an experienced brand professional with a diverse background and over 15 years of work experience. During the last 7+ years I gained solid experience in brand strategy, brand (portfolio) management and product marketing in various leadership roles at Nokia.

My home country is The Netherlands. Most of the last 10+ years I have lived in Finland with 2+ years in between in New York City. This means that once in a while I might write a bit in the “Dutch/Finn/English” way. My advice: don’t bother when you read this blog, it is a personal touch.

What is this blog all about?
A place were I can share ideas about stuff I read and find interesting to share. Focus will be on brands, smart design and technology that helps our lives to progress and become richer.

Why is you blog called MondayTalk?
That’s an easy one: I read so much stuff and think there is always plenty to talk about. So, there you have the “talk” bit. Then, it’s Monday because my last name in Dutch means Monday. So, Monday talks!

The future will tell if I will talk more than on Mondays…  The first post was on a Saturday so who knows:-)
